Q: When is 31108 / 31162 / 31271 working next and where ?

Q: 31418 has a scrap power unit - will it ever run again ?
A: Yes. A replacement power unit has already been fitted and the loco is currently under mechanical restoration. Please see the 31418 page for full details.
Q: Are your locos passed for the main line ?
A: 31108, 31162 and 31271 are restored to represent historically accurate stages in their BR careers and are not approved to work on the main line under current Network Rail standards. They are all registered on TOPS and are certified to be hauled over Network Rail enabling them to be moved on the main line to Diesel Gala events and preservation centres around Britain.
Q: I don't want to join but can I donate some books on railway items to your sales stand ?
A: Yes please! Our sales stand visits a number of major events each year, often accompanying our locos. Donations of any suitable, saleable items of railway interest are most appreciated. Please contact the Financial Director via the mailbox.
