31108 Nene Valley Railway

Throughout the months of March to November , we are pleased to be able to offer driver experience courses at the Nene Valley Railway using 31108.

1. Light Engine ( £175.00 ).........The course commences with a safety brief and an extremely informative tour of 'your' locomotive by an A1A driver followed by 2 round trips at the controls between Wansford and Ferry Meadows. An excellent hot lunch is provided together with membership for one year of the Nene Valley Railway and a superb signed '31108 driver experience certificate' of your day.

2. Coaching Stock ( £350.00 ).........The course commences with a safety brief and an extremely informative tour of 'your' locomotive by an A1A driver followed by 2 round trips from Wansford through to Peterboro.

You can usually choose your coaches for the course in advance , these being the vacuum braked Mk 1s or the air braked 'DSB's' . An excellent hot lunch is provided together with membership for one year of the Nene Valley Railway and a superb signed '31108 driver experience certificate' of your day.

31271 Midland Railway Butterley

There are currently no plans to offer driver experience courses with 31271.

31162 Elsecar Railway
