31108 Nene Valley Railway

Throughout the months of March to November , we are pleased to be able to offer driver experience courses at the Nene Valley Railway using 31108.

1. Light Engine ( £220.00 ).........The course commences with a safety brief and an extremely informative tour of 'your' locomotive by an A1A driver followed by 2 round trips at the controls between Wansford and Ferry Meadows. An excellent hot lunch is provided together with membership for one year of the Nene Valley Railway and a superb signed '31108 driver experience certificate' of your day.

2. Coaching Stock ( £375.00 ).........The course commences with a safety brief and an extremely informative tour of 'your' locomotive by an A1A driver followed by 2 round trips from Wansford through to Peterboro.

You can usually choose your coaches for the course in advance , these being the vacuum braked Mk 1s or the air braked 'DSB's' . An excellent hot lunch is provided together with membership for one year of the Nene Valley Railway and a superb signed '31108 driver experience certificate' of your day.

31271 Midland Railway Butterley

Due to essential repairs, this loco will be unavailable.

31162 Llangollen Railway

It is planned to offer 31162 at the Llangollen Railway for driver experience during 2012. Details will be announced in due course.
