Current Location:	Weybourne...North Norfolk Railway
Status:	In service.In near-original condition with body-side waistband, replica nose-end doors, body-side footsteps and train heating boiler (isolated).
Planned Workings
	31162 has worked all the rostered dates at NNR as planned in 2007. The 'part' 2008 roster for 5580 is now available.
Planned Maintenance	Routine   The ' Spanner Mk 1' train heating boiler has now been 'isolated' due to requiring its 10 yearly overhaul.

31162 RESTORATION (28/07/07 - 15/09/07) & OPERATING 10/11/07 - 11/11/07 & 05/01/08 GALLERY.

The late Andy Dalby gets to grips with preparing 15 small sections ready  for new inserts to be welded in. Andy had been with us 'from the start' in 1990 and will be missed not only as a skilled welder but as a great friend... Andy worked for British Rail at both Shildon and Doncaster Wks 'The Plant' before closure....29/07/07

With much work still to do on no 2 end , the no 2 compressor has been cleaned ready for painting..29/07/07

Almost done !  All skirting has been refitted and the loco is receiving final work prior to painting..15/09/07.

Following an enormous amount of hard work and dedication , an immaculate 5580 poses at Weybourne prior to working the days services on 10/11/07.

On the second trip of the day and with steam turned off , 5580 is uncoupled ready to run-round at Holt..10/11/07

Just arrived at Weybourne with the 1400 from Holt. Unfortunately the heaters were only working in the middle coach , the others being very cold indeed..10/11/07
